Qinghe Fathead Fish

　　The fathead fish, also known as bighead carp, is referred to by many names including flower carp, bao tou fish, big head fish, and black carp. It is a type of freshwater fish. It has a laterally compressed body, a large and broad head, with the head length being about one-third of the body length. Its mouth is also wide and slightly upturned. The eyes are positioned low.

　　 On March 28, 2012, the “Qinghe Fathead Fish” trademark successfully passed the preliminary examination announcement by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and was successfully registered as a national geographical indication certification mark.
