Production areas and seasons: East China Sea and Yellow Sea. Major fishing grounds include Zhoushan, offshore Jiangsu, and offshore southern Shandong. The spring fishing season is from April to June, the autumn season from July to October, with peak season in May and June. Nutritional value: Each 100 grams of meat contains over 19 grams of protein and 2.5 grams of fat. The flesh is firm and delicious, rich in nutrients.
