Mink fur
Minks belong to the class Mammalia, order Carnivora, family Mustelidae, and genus Neogale in zoological classification. In the wild, there are two types: the American mink (M. vison) and the European mink (M. lutreola). Currently, all minks raised artificially around the world are descendants of these American and European minks. The primary commercial part of the mink is its fur. Along with fox fur and Persian lamb, mink fur is one of the three pillar commodities in the global fur market. At present, there is a supply shortage of mink fur domestically, indicating promising development prospects.
