西门塔尔牛
西门塔尔牛具有体大、肉多、乳蛋白率、乳脂率高、耐粗饲、易管理等特点，24月龄育肥公牛胴体重为605.3公斤，屠宰率达59.3%，22月龄母牛胴体重366.4公斤，屠宰率达55.4%。舍饲母牛年均产奶5722公斤，最高可达9000公斤以上。西门塔尔牛全疆各地都有分布，中心产区在南疆库尔勒阿克苏、喀什、和田等地。全疆存栏97.58万头，年出栏25万头。
