Wuqi Sea Buckthorn Tea

Wuqi Sea Buckthorn Tea is a specialty of Wuqi County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. The "Shenji" brand Sea Buckthorn Tea from Wuqi won the Jizi Award at the Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair, and in 2006, it obtained both the "National Organic Product Certification" and ISO9001-2008 International Quality Management System Certification.

The main ingredients of the "Shenji" brand Sea Buckthorn Tea are carefully selected leaves from the pure, wild sea buckthorn plants in the Baiyu Mountain area of northern Wuqi County. Baiyu Mountain, with an altitude of 1,200 to 1,800 meters, is the source of the Beiluo River. The mountain and its waters nurture sea buckthorn that is free from pollution and contamination, boasting a uniquely fragrant aroma and health-promoting qualities. Through advanced processing techniques, the beneficial components such as flavonoids in the sea buckthorn leaves are maximized, and a well-balanced formula makes them even more easily absorbed by the human body. The tea features slender leaves, bright yellow liquor, a lingering fragrance, and a refreshing aftertaste—resembling tea yet surpassing it. With its benefits including anti-hypertensive effects, lowering blood lipids, eliminating free radicals, and cancer prevention, it adds a unique gem to China’s health tea offerings.
