Red River Shiitake Mushrooms
Shiitake mushrooms are the world’s second most consumed edible fungi and one of China’s special agricultural products, often referred to as a “mountain delicacy.” They are a type of fungus that grows on wood. With a delicious taste and fragrant aroma, they are rich in nutrients and are widely known as the “queen of vegetables.” Shiitake mushrooms are abundant in B vitamins, iron, potassium, and vitamin D precursors (which convert to vitamin D when exposed to sunlight), taste sweet, and have a neutral nature. They are primarily used to treat loss of appetite and symptoms such as low energy and fatigue.
