　　Tangtou palm fiber weaving baskets are a specialty of Tangtou Town, Sinan County, Guizhou Province, made from tender white palm leaves. The hard stems of the leaves are first trimmed off, then the leaves are split into fine strands or twisted into palm fiber ropes for weaving. The baskets come in various shapes such as round and square, as well as styles including deep-bottomed and shallow-bottomed, with a wide range of specifications. Decorative techniques include interwoven color combinations of white and single-tone palm fibers, as well as openwork floral patterns, among other methods. The products are lightweight, durable, elastic, water-draining, and moisture-resistant, making them especially suitable for everyday household use.
