　　Si Zhou Crystal Rice is a specialty of Cengong County in Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. The Si Zhou brand crystal rice, known for its excellent quality and great taste, enjoys brisk sales both within and outside the province.

　　Si Zhou Crystal Rice is produced in Cengong County, Guizhou Province. The farmland, soil, air, and irrigation water at the production base have been tested and certified by national inspection authorities as an environment suitable for producing pollution-free agricultural products. The rice is grown strictly in accordance with the NY/T5117—2002 standard for pollution-free high-quality rice, and processed according to the NY/T5190—2002 standard. It is registered and produced by the Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center of Cengong County, Guizhou Province. The product boasts excellent quality and is rich in natural trace elements such as selenium and zinc. The grains are semi-transparent and glossy, with a high and uniform whole-grain rice rate. When cooked, the rice remains intact, white and glossy, soft yet not sticky, and does not harden when cooled. It has a fragrant and refreshing taste, earning the reputation of “one household cooking rice fills the whole village with aroma.” In 2002, it won first place in both the Taste Evaluation and Physicochemical Index Testing categories for high-quality rice in Guizhou Province. In 2003, it was recognized as having a pollution-free agricultural product production environment by Guizhou Province, and in the same year, it won the title of “Famous Brand Agricultural Product” at the First Guizhou Famous, Special, and High-Quality Agricultural Products Trade Fair. In 2005, it received pollution-free agricultural product certification from the Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. In November 2006, it won the award for High-Quality Product at the Fifth China High-Quality Rice Expo and Trade Fair. In 2008, through investment attraction, the Cengong County Si Zhou Rice Industry Co., Ltd. was established, upgrading equipment and expanding production scale. Annual production increased from the original 6,000 tons to 30,000 tons. Its products are popular in major coastal cities such as Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan, and are highly favored by consumers.
