　　Dalucao Township is located in the northeastern part of Suiyang County, about 13 kilometers from the county seat. It covers an area of 90 square kilometers, comprises 5 administrative villages, 86 villager groups, and has a population of 16,780. The township boasts over 60,000 mu of forested land, with a forest coverage rate of 49%. It features mountainous terrain with limited flat land, more soil than paddy fields, and is a typical mountainous "pure agriculture" township. With support from the county party committee and county government, by the end of 2007, the township had made full use of its ecological resources to vigorously develop the “ecological native chicken” breeding industry.
