Steamed Pork Ribs with Glutinous Rice
Steamed Pork Ribs with Glutinous Rice
Ingredients: pork ribs, glutinous rice, one cabbage leaf, an appropriate amount of chopped scallions
Marinade: salt, sugar, soy sauce, cooking wine, ginger,
a little vinegar, a little chicken essence, a little sesame oil
(you can adjust the marinade to your taste
by adding chili flakes or mashed garlic, etc.)
Method:
1. Wash the pork ribs, cut them into one-inch pieces, and place them in the prepared marinade. Marinate for about two hours;
2. At the same time, rinse the glutinous rice clean, soak it in water for two hours, then drain and set aside;
3. Take one cabbage leaf, blanch it in boiling water, drain, and lay it at the bottom of the plate;
4. Roll the marinated pork ribs in the glutinous rice so that the surface of the ribs is coated with a layer of glutinous rice; evenly spread them on the plate, and lightly sprinkle some glutinous rice around as well;
5. Steam in a pot for one and a half hours; remove and sprinkle with chopped scallions before serving.
