The tea has an elegant shape, vibrant green color, a lasting aroma, pale green and clear liquor, a fresh and refreshing taste, and bright leaves. Steeping 2–3 grams in a glass cup allows the tea buds to gradually stand upright and gently float in the water—an enchanting sight that offers both high aesthetic and tasting value.
Yibin Xufu Longya is a newly developed premium tea jointly created by Sichuan Xufu Tea Co., Ltd. and Southwest Agricultural University. It is crafted from high-quality single buds sourced from pollution-free high-altitude tea gardens using a special production process. The tea plantations are mainly located between 800m and 1350m above sea level. Influenced by the dry and hot climate of the Jinsha River and Zhongdu River valleys, as well as the cold climate of the high-altitude Laojun Mountain, the tea region features a subtropical humid monsoon climate with attributes of a southern subtropical climate. The average annual temperature reaches 17.5°C, allowing the picking and production of Xufu Longya as early as mid-to-late February. Due to the unique topography and distinct vertical climate of the tea-growing area, the spring tea harvest period for Xufu Longya can extend from mid-February to mid-to-late May. Coupled with large day-night temperature differences, concurrent rainfall and heat, lush forests, rich biodiversity, and a superior ecological environment, the tea naturally possesses outstanding quality.
This product has won the International Famous Tea Quality Competition Gold Award five times and has been awarded the title of China International Agricultural Fair Famous Brand Product twice. In 2002, it received the “Green Food” certification (certificate No.: LB-42-020-1224901).
