Xingye Golden Tangerine
Xingye County currently has over 30,000 mu of golden tangerine plantations, with an annual output of 50,000 tons, making it a renowned specialty fruit of Guangxi. In 2009, “Xingye Golden Tangerine” was awarded the National Organic Food certification, and in 2010, it received the National Pollution-Free Agricultural Product certification. In developing the golden tangerine industry, Xingye County has vigorously promoted the use of frequency-vibrating insecticidal lamps, yellow sticky boards, and implemented biological control techniques such as releasing predatory mites and fruit fly traps, as well as the “three protections” technology. These practices have not only increased the yield and quality of the golden tangerines but also extended their harvest period, allowing Xingye Golden Tangerines to hit the market at a different peak season compared to golden tangerines from other regions. The fruit is now widely sold to cities and regions such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, gaining increasing fame. Rich in various vitamins and amino acids essential for the human body, golden tangerines help regulate qi, relieve depression, promote fluid production and digestion, and dissolve phlegm. Regular consumption can enhance the body’s resistance to stress, making it an ideal health fruit.
