Star Anise
Star anise is a major specialty of Longzhou, with the county’s Bajiao Township even named after its abundant production. Longzhou is a renowned producer of star anise, which has been cultivated artificially here for over 400 years. The region yields five million kilograms of star anise annually. Longzhou star anise is large in size, vibrant in color, rich in aroma, and of superior quality, with its products being exported to Europe, America, and the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan regions.
