　　Jiangzhou sugarcane is a specialty of Jiangzhou District in Chongzuo City, Guangxi.

　　The Party committees and governments at all levels in Jiangzhou District have shown great care and attention to sugarcane production, consistently treating the sugarcane industry as the district’s foremost pillar industry. It is reported that the sugarcane planting area in Jiangzhou District is approximately 1.1 million mu, and during the 2012/2013 crushing season, the output of raw sugarcane reached 5.0806 million tons.

　　During the 2008/2009 crushing season, the amount of raw sugarcane delivered to mills reached 5.18 million tons, producing 663,000 tons of sugar; per capita sugarcane and sugar production ranks first in the nation, earning it the title of China's "Sugar Capital."
