Nalong Preserved Duck

Nalong Preserved Duck: This dish is made primarily from local native ducks raised in Nalong Town, which boasts high forest coverage, abundant water resources, and a dense network of rivers, streams, and ditches. The traditional production method dates back to the 1960s and still preserves the craftsmanship of handcrafting and natural air-drying, with no chemical additives—making it a truly green food product. Main ways to eat: Wash the preserved duck, slice it thinly, and boil it in boiling water for 4–5 minutes. Then stir-fry it with one of the following fresh vegetables: garlic sprouts, long beans, celery, or Chinese broccoli. Once cooked, the duck meat is extremely delicious, featuring authentic preserved flavor, salty but not astringent, with crispy bones and fragrant meat. Storage method: It is best to air-dry and hang it in a dry, ventilated place or store it in the freezer compartment of a refrigerator.
