Persimmon calyx bitter
The persimmon calyx bitter melon from Du'anyan Town, Xinhui (also known as Leigongzao), has a short fruit shape, a wide and round stem end, and a pointed tip resembling a chisel. Its color is jade-green, and the flesh is thick and crisp. It is grown in three seasons a year, with autumn yielding the best quality. It is exported to Hong Kong and Macau. As long as the label "Du'anyan Autumn" is displayed, many people flock to buy it out of admiration. (Jiangmen)
