Lingchuan Walnuts
The Walnut Bay Mountain in Lingchuan County is located 7 kilometers east of Zhanghe Village, Zhanghe Township. It is abundant in walnuts. The walnut kernels from this area contain 15.4% protein, 40%–63% fat, 10% carbohydrates, as well as rich amounts of calcium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, carotene, riboflavin, and vitamins A, B, C, and E. The delicious and richly fatty walnut kernels are not only highly nutritious but also have special therapeutic effects.
