　　Shuixian County is located at the junction of the Taihang Mountains and the Zhongtiao Mountains. Over 75% of the county’s more than 4 million mu of land is covered by forests and grasslands. Among the diverse vegetation, locust and vitex forests dominate. From May to July each year, the hillsides are blanketed with blooming locust and vitex flowers, which serve as the main source of premium honey.

　　 The product comes from 700 administrative villages across 50 towns (sub-district offices) in five counties (cities, districts) under the jurisdiction of Jincheng City: Qinshui County, Gaoping City, Lingchuan County, Zezhou County, and Yangcheng County. The geographical coordinates are between 112°31′ to 112°40′ east longitude and 35°12′ to 35°45′ north latitude.
