Ge Zhao Apricot
Produced in the area around Ge Zhao Village, Changle Town, west of the county, these apricots are large and delicious, with multiple varieties including "Big Sweet Pit," "Yellow Sweet Pit," "Red Sweet Pit," "Banana Apricot," "Da Hong Pao," "White Sand Apricot," "Yellow Branch Apricot," "Egg Apricot," and "Pheasant Red."
Ge Zhao apricots have thin skins, juicy flesh, thick meat, and a richly sweet yet slightly acidic taste. Eating these apricots can aid digestion, stimulate appetite, improve health, and refresh the body. Each apricot weighs up to two taels and boasts a delicious flavor. They are made into preserves, dried apricots, apricot slices, and green plums, which are then canned and sold both domestically and internationally. Currently, over 2,000 acres of Ge Zhao apricot trees are cultivated in Hongyang, Ge Zhao, and Pinggao villages of Changle Town, and they have now entered their prime fruit-bearing period, offering broad development prospects.
