One-Wok Pastry
One-Wok Pastry
The method for making One-Wok Pastry is actually quite simple. Place the slightly rested dough on the work surface, and using the method for making hand-pulled noodles, shake it up and down evenly to stretch the dough strands, eventually pulling it into 10-strand noodles (1024 strands in total). Then evenly lay the noodles on the work surface, brush them evenly with vegetable oil, roll them lengthwise, then cut into 20 small sections, swirl each into a round flatbread shape, and arrange them in a baking tray. Bake in an oven over low heat until golden brown. One-Wok Pastry has now evolved into a series of pastries filled with ingredients such as red bean paste, date paste, lotus seed paste, and mixed fruits.
