Lichuan Black Tea

　　Lantian Village in Maoba Town, Lichuan City, is located in the heart of Xingdou Mountain, shrouded in clouds and mist all year round. Deep in the mountains, lush tea plantations stretch as far as the eye can see. The various teas produced here have become a major source of income for local residents. It is these very teas that, after being picked, processed, packed, and shipped across the seas, arrive in Hamburg, Germany, and eventually find their way into European households.

　　Maoba Town has been optimizing resource allocation, promoting the establishment of the Lichuan Black Tea Industry Group, improving its standard system, and applying for the “Lichuan Black Tea” geographical indication certification trademark. Flagship stores and chain shops for “Lichuan Black Tea” have been set up in cities such as Wuhan, Beijing, and Guangzhou, focusing on promoting Maoba-produced teas to capture the domestic market and establish the area as China’s premier “Yihong” tea township.
