Jiaozhou Goat Horn Pepper

　　On October 12, 1998, the improved and selected variety of goat horn pepper cultivated by the Jiaozhou Agricultural Technology Station passed expert evaluation organized by the Qingdao Science and Technology Commission and was officially named "Jiaozhou Goat Horn Pepper." It is characterized by high yield, excellent quality, and a goat horn-shaped fruit. The pepper is 10 to 14 centimeters long, with a diameter of 2.5 to 2.8 centimeters. The fruit has an elegant shape, a deep purple-red color, and moderate spiciness. Processed products such as pepper pigment, pepper slices, powder, and sauce are highly popular among consumers both domestically and internationally, and are exported to more than 20 countries and regions including Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan.
