Wang's Cooked Pears are usually sold at dusk, accompanied by the melodious tune of a traditional sales song. When people hear the song, they flock to buy them, and diners praise them highly. On October 20, 1993, comedian Zhao Benshan performed this song on stage after tasting the pears.

Celebrities such as Chen Yi, Gu Mu, and Fei Xiaotong have all praised these pears. They have been featured in reports by multiple TV stations and newspapers. In 1997, they were recognized by the Shandong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission as a “Famous Shandong Snack,” and by the China Cuisine Association as a “Famous Chinese Snack” and awarded the title of “Chinese Cooked Pear King.”

Ingredients: Yellow Fragrant Pears from Tianbao Mountain, Pingyi, Shandong; rock sugar from Wenzhou, Zhejiang; Sichuan Fritillaria from Mount Emei, Sichuan; original cooked pear juice and broth; red beans from the south; jujubes from Qufu; osmanthus paste; fragrant angelica; spices, and more.

Preparation: Select high-quality pears, soak the red beans from the south, wrap the spices; place the main and auxiliary ingredients in a special cooking utensil, add old brine, fresh broth, and seasonings, and braise until tender and mushy.

Wang's Cooked Pears had their trademark registered with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce in 2001.
