Changhong Strawberries
Changhong Strawberries are produced in Liudianzi Township, Hedong District. The area has a long history of strawberry cultivation. In recent years, due to government guidance, the introduction of new varieties, and strong market demand, the planting scale has continued to expand, reaching nearly 10,000 mu. They are named after the Changhong Ridge, which runs from north to south in the western part of the township, and the “Changhong Strawberry” trademark was registered in recent years. Changhong Strawberries are highly nutritious and rich in various effective components.
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that strawberries have significant medicinal value. They taste sweet and have a cool nature, offering benefits such as relieving coughs, clearing heat, soothing sore throats, promoting saliva production, strengthening the spleen and stomach, and nourishing blood. Recent medical research has shown that strawberries have unique benefits for heart and brain health, especially in preventing and treating conditions such as coronary heart disease, cerebral hemorrhage, and atherosclerosis.
