Gaoyang Textiles

　　The nationally renowned textile hometown—Gaoyang County

　　Gaoyang’s textiles are found across the world. In the first half of the 20th century, its production accounted for one-third of North China’s total, earning it the praise: “No stray trees on Guilin Mountain, Gaoyang’s floral fabrics new all year round.” After the reform and opening up, Gaoyang textiles truly took off, with products sold in over twenty countries and regions. In 1997, Gaoyang County was named a “Strong Textile County” by the People’s Government of Hebei Province.
