Yonghe Plantain Seed

　　Plantain seed is the dried seed of the plantain herb from the Plantago genus. It is sweet in flavor and slightly cold in nature, containing dozens of components such as aucubin, plantaginin, protein, fatty oil, succinic acid, choline, vitamin A, and vitamin B1. It is highly effective in relieving cough and expelling phlegm, alleviating pain, promoting urination, clearing the liver and improving vision, nourishing the lungs, stopping diarrhea, and treating red eyes.

The Yonghe Plantain Seed produced in Yonghe Town, Ji'an County, features large, uniform grains, no impurities, distinct black-and-white coloring, and whole seeds with visible "phoenix eye" patterns. It not only ranks first in quality across China but also leads the world in color, texture, and medicinal properties. Currently, the annual production is about 350 tons, with over 75 tons exported to regions and countries including Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Myanmar, and Singapore.
