Fuling Rose Crisp
Features: Sweet but not greasy; tiny flecks of rose give the crisp a pinkish tint against its white base, making it appear even whiter.
Preparation: Hand-shelled sesame seeds are roasted, ground into powder, and mixed with white sugar and flour. The mixture is layered, rolled, cut into pieces, and then sprinkled with ingredients such as rose petals and shredded red and green candied fruits to finish.
