　　Fenghuang Mountain Village is located in the southeastern part of Shun’an Town, covering an area of 33 square kilometers. The cultivation of tree peonies is the leading agricultural industry in the area. The “Tongfeng Brand Tree Peony Bark” has won the provincial title of High-quality Branded Agricultural Product multiple times. As a result, Tongling was awarded the titles “Southern China Tree Peony Base” by the Ministry of Agriculture and “Hometown of Medicinal Tree Peonies in China” by the State Forestry Administration. Tongling tree peony bark has also received national geographical indication certification. Currently, the village has over 2,000 mu of tree peony cultivation area, with nearly 2,000 people engaged in planting, processing, and sales. Between 2005 and 2007, the village successfully cooperated with Henan Wanshi Pharmaceutical Factory and Beijing Tongrentang Pharmaceutical Factory to establish a “Tree Peony Bark Seedling Cultivation Base” within its territory, and built a long-term product sales network. In 2008, the “Tongling Fenghuang Peony Planting Professional Cooperative” was established, putting the development of the “One Village, One Product” initiative on a virtuous cycle track, with significant benefits seen in increased production and income for farmers.

　　 In 2010, the per capita net income of farmers reached 7,300 yuan, ranking among the top in Shun’an Town. In 2007, the village was awarded the title “Tree Peony Planting Professional Demonstration Village” by the Provincial Agricultural Commission. In 2008, it was named a “One Village, One Product” Demonstration Village by the Tongling Municipal Agricultural Commission, and in 2009, it was recognized as one of Anhui Province’s “Top Ten Villages” in new rural construction.
