The Hohhot Catholic Church is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Hohhot Catholic Church is situated on the Islamic Culture Street in the Huimin District. Its main building is the sanctuary, characterized by a classic European Roman architectural style and considered quite representative. It stands in vivid contrast to the architectural forms of Hohhot’s Buddhist and Islamic temples, yet exists in harmony with them. Together, they form the rich tapestry of Hohhot’s religious and historical culture, serving as important physical evidence for the study of the development history of foreign religious influences in Hohhot and even the Inner Mongolia region during the modern era.

In May 2013, the Hohhot Catholic Church was listed as part of the seventh group of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
