Yikesama National Forest Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national forest park.

Thirty-eight kilometers from Mgbei Town lies the very famous tourism scenic area of Genhe City — the Yikesama Tourist Scenic Area, which is located within Yikesama National Forest Park. (It is situated at the North Bank Forest Farm, on the North Bank Route 10.) "Yikesama" means "beautiful and broad river" in the Ewenki language.

Yikesama National Forest Park was approved for establishment in 2001, covering an area of 15,565 hectares. It borders Mohe County of Heilongjiang Province to the north, adjoins the primitive forests of Qiqian Forestry Bureau to the northwest, and connects to Moerdaoga National Forest Park to the southwest.

Visiting Yikesama is like stepping into Siberia. In winter, it becomes a world of ice and snow, with some areas covered by snow over two meters thick. In summer, it transforms into a sea of green, where vegetation typically found only in the Arctic — such as Arctic meadows, old-growth forests, and Uvan trees — can be admired. The park’s main river, the Jiliuhe River, winds through the landscape with significant drops and fast currents, making it an ideal spot for rafting.

Yikesama is embraced by continuous mountain ranges. The Korean pines at the mountaintops sway gracefully like beautiful women welcoming guests from all directions. Colorful wildflowers halfway up the mountains and the Yikesama Bridge further enhance the peaks' charm. Mountains, grasslands, green trees, and the rushing river form a harmonious natural landscape.

Yikesama Resort

Yikesama Resort is located east of the Yikesama Bridge, built against the mountain and beside the river. The resort features wooden cabins, Mongolian yurts, a swimming pool, a wildlife park, and a forest-themed children's playground. At the center of the resort stands a large willow tree that forms a shaded grove, offering a cool retreat for visitors in summer. The paths in the resort are paved with natural stones. Strolling through the resort allows one to deeply experience the tranquility, wild beauty, and simplicity of the forest.
