Bayintu Aeolian Erosion Landform

The Bayintu Aeolian Erosion Landform is located 4 kilometers south of the seat of Bayintu Sumu in Urad Rear Banner. It is a natural landscape formed by the wind erosion of purplish-red sandy mudstone. Due to its resemblance to a beacon tower, it is called Chuanjing (Beacon Tower). Originally about 100 meters high and covering an area of 200 square meters, after years of wind erosion, it is now approximately 40 meters high and covers an area of 100 square meters. Its majestic form is unclimbable, and when viewed from different angles, it resembles either a camel gazing into the distance or a shepherdess looking out over the land, creating a unique desert landscape. Travelers can spot it from as far as 10 kilometers away, and as they approach, its changing form appears ancient and weathered, standing proudly against the elements. The Chuan’ao Border Defense Highway runs right alongside it.
