Shandaigu Temple, also known as Saladabu Temple, is located on a high slope at the southern foot of the Yin Mountains within the territory of Houqi, in the seat of Wugai Sumu. Built in 1902 (the 28th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty), it is a - religious temple belonging to the Yellow Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Covering an area of approximately 3,000 mu, the temple complex currently consists of five main structures of varying sizes, namely the main hall, east side hall, west side hall, east wing courtyard, and west wing courtyard, with a total floor area of 1,361 square meters. The main hall alone spans 464 square meters and features a grand and solemn architectural style. In 1980, the People's Government of Urad Rear Banner funded its restoration. It is the most completely preserved temple complex in Urad Rear Banner and one of the best-maintained temples in Bayannur City. The buildings follow Tibetan Buddhist architectural styles, exuding tranquility and solemnity, and hold significant value for both sightseeing and art appreciation. It is now a key cultural relic protection unit of Urad Rear Banner. Currently, there is one -, several -, and a number of -. The Buddhist Association of Bayannur League is headquartered here, and regular Buddhist activities are held. At its peak, there were 1,000 - and 3,000 apprentices.
