Houqi Mongolian Camp

Houqi Mongolian Camp, also known as Zhagela Aili, is located at the entrance of Saiwusu Town. It was invested in and built by Radio Station 871, and consists of seven yurts leased to private operators. It opened on May 1, 2002, and can accommodate up to 80 diners at once. From May 1 to November 1, 2003, it received a total of 13,000 visitors. It is one of the better reception facilities in Houqi. The camp mainly hosts tourists as well as staff from British, French, German, and other international companies that have invested in mining operations in Houqi. Behind the camp is the radio station, which features an expansive 110,000-square-meter green area planted with various vegetables, fruits, sunflowers, corn, and a variety of flowers. Additionally, a fishpond and swimming pool are under construction, and there are plans to build an obo (sacred mound).
