The oversized Obo in Hailiutu Ecological Park is located in the northeast corner of Hailiutu Town, Uzhong Banner. It is a green park integrating ecological conservation, grassland science and technology, cultivation demonstration, tourism, and leisure vacation. As the largest park within the eastern green comprehensive development zone of Hailiutu Town, it is hailed as the “museum” of flora and fauna in Uzhong Banner. The park covers a total area of 690 hectares, with 12,000 linear meters of enclosed fencing. Currently, there are 17 greenhouse sheds planted with 130,000 trees including spruce, juniper, poplar, weeping willow, elm, and lilac, as well as 333 hectares of Caragana shrubs and 0.5 hectares of premium vineyards. The park features an oversized Obo with a diameter of 30 meters, which is currently applying for a Guinness World Record; an innovative artificial stone forest scenic area that makes visitors feel as if they are in a real stone forest; a lovely giant sculpture of the Five Elements of Earth that brings smiles to visitors; as well as vividly crafted “Take a Break” sculptures, heartwarming sculptures of a family of three, animal statues, eco-friendly pavilions, traditional pavilions, an eco-restaurant, pebble paths, and other leisure landscapes and facilities.

Currently, the park is further developing lawns, installing sprinkler irrigation systems, and constructing facilities such as a cluster of Mongolian yurts, an off-road go-kart track, an amusement park, a white pagoda, a rare stones museum, a jujube orchard, and an apricot orchard. There is an asphalt road leading directly to the ecological park.

Located at the intersection of 41°34’ north latitude and 108°31’ east longitude, it has an average elevation of 1,288 meters and an average annual temperature of 4.9°C. The town covers a total area of 62 square kilometers, with a planned area of 18 square kilometers and a built-up area of 5.2 square kilometers. It has 2,579.5 mu of arable land.
