Situated in the Baiyanhua section of the Yin Mountains, it lies south of National Highway 110 and the Baotou–Lanzhou Railway, faces Ordos City across the Yellow River, borders the "Pearl Beyond the Great Wall" Ulan Lake to the west, neighbors the Urad Grassland to the north, and connects to Baotou City to the east. With a total area of 1.754 million mu, the park features a diverse range of species and abundant resources. As the only natural green treasure in Bayannur City and a vital ecological shield for the Yellow River, it plays a crucial role in promoting regional economic development, regulating local microclimates, and improving the ecological environment. The park boasts rich tourism resources: in spring, all things come back to life, grass and trees compete in lushness, creating beautiful scenery; in summer, green meadows spread out as far as the eye can see, mountain flowers bloom brilliantly, and clouds and mist shroud the area, making visitors feel as if they have entered a fairyland; in autumn, red leaves paint the hills, while in winter, snow blankets the land, together forming the enchanting scenery of Wulashan. The park mainly consists of three tourist areas centered around Dahuabei, covering a total area of 10,000 hectares with 73 scenic spots. It integrates mountains, water, trees, rocks, flowers, and ancient temples, making it an ideal destination for sightseeing and summer retreats.
