Walk through the Yingzhou Archway into the village, and you’ll be greeted by the Xiaozhou People's Auditorium. This building with its yellow exterior is an iconic landmark of Xiaozhou Village.

The entire exterior of the building is yellow, and the words “Xiaozhou People's Auditorium” are written in large characters at the top, giving it a rather old-time feel from the outside. The inside is quite open, and it’s often used for exhibitions — a wonderful and valuable place to visit.

Xiaozhou Community: Xiaozhou Village is located in Haizhu District, Guangzhou. Established in the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties, it is the most representative ancient water town settlement within Guangzhou’s urban area that showcases Lingnan-style water town features. It has been listed as one of Guangzhou’s first 16 historical and cultural preservation zones and has been recognized as an ecological demonstration village in Guangdong Province.

Xiaozhou Village is bordered by the Pearl River’s southern channel to the south, facing Panyu District across the river. To the east is Paifang River, with Guanzhou Island and LunTou opposite. To the northwest, it connects with Tuhua Village. Xiaozhou Village was formed over thousands of years of Pearl River sedimentation, covering an area of 6,013.8 mu, with over 10 kilometers of waterways.
