Haiyin Bridge

Haiyin Bridge, named after Haiyin Rock—one of the Three Stones of Yangcheng—located at the bridge’s northern end. The bridge is situated in Dasha Tou, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China, connecting Yuexiu District and Haizhu District. It spans the Pearl River, with a total length of approximately 1,130.75 meters. It connects Donghu Road to the north and Dongxiao Road to the south, and approach bridges link it to Yanjiang Road and Binjiang Road. The bridge is a double-tower single-cable-plane cable-stayed bridge, with a main span of 125 meters and towers standing 57.4 meters high. It is supported by 186 steel cables arranged in a star pattern, and the tops of the towers resemble a pair of “ram’s horns,” symbolizing the city of Guangzhou, also known as the “City of Rams.”

Haiyin Bridge presents the image of a two-masted ship setting sail at sunrise, and on summer nights, it resembles a pair of giant harps playing melodious tunes alongside the flowing river, making it the fourth uniquely distinctive highway bridge over the Pearl River.
