Xudeng Chan Temple is situated in the Brick Kiln Residential Area of Wulashan Town, the seat of the Banner government. Constructed in 2003 with a total investment of 4.3 million yuan, the temple was founded by Venerable Zongcai, an overseas Chinese from the United States. It is the largest Han Buddhist temple in Bayannur City. The temple occupies a total area of about 12,000 square meters, with a construction area of over 2,000 square meters. It includes a main hall and east and west meditation rooms. The temple boasts a majestic and splendid golden appearance, serving as an auspicious sacred site for Buddhist devotees and worshippers, as well as a highlight in the urban landscape of Xishanzui.
