Ula Mountain Ecological Park is located in Baiyanhua Town, Wulate Front Banner, western Inner Mongolia, 50 kilometers from both Baotou and Wulate Front Banner. It lies to the south of the Yin Mountains and is bordered by the Beijing–Lhasa Expressway to the south. The park is situated directly north of the Baiyanhua exit of the Beijing–Lhasa Expressway, covering a total area of 10,000 mu.

Operating projects: grassland ecological botanical garden, special animal breeding farm, green vegetable and fruit plantation, established as an ecological construction demonstration base in western Inner Mongolia. Recreational activities include paintball combat, skeet shooting, model aircraft flying, mountain motorcycling, skiing, mountain ice skating, horse racing, cockfighting, dog racing, campgrounds, hunting, ethnic-themed bars, bonfire parties, folk villages, adventure and extreme rides, fishing, as well as sightseeing by dog, sheep, horse, camel-drawn carts and electric vehicles. Other offerings include sunshine villas, real estate development (grassland villas), Mongolian-style cuisine, temples, helicopter tours over deserts, the Yellow River, primeval forests, and Wuliangsuhai Lake, totaling twenty-five projects.
