Attraction Introduction

Conghua Tongtian LaZhu Mountain is located in Dongming Village, Liangkou Town, Conghua District, Guangzhou City. Currently undeveloped, it is beloved by hiking enthusiasts and is also a camper’s paradise. The mountain paths wind through lush forests, clear mountain springs flow gently, the air is fresh, birds chirp in the woods, and there is even a small reservoir halfway up the mountain—truly a place of beautiful mountains and clear waters, making it an ideal destination for urban dwellers to relax and connect with nature.

When spring arrives, the mountains are covered in bright red azaleas, which paint the hillsides red, resembling glowing red candles against the sky—hence the name "Tongtian LaZhu" (Heaven-Reaching Candle) given by locals.

Tongtian LaZhu is definitely a great spot for camping, with different scenery to enjoy in different seasons. From February to March, it's the best time to admire the azaleas, said to cover the entire peak in vibrant red. Summer is perfect for playing in the mountain streams, where the cool water brings plenty of fun. From November to December, you can likely see the red foliage, as the area is home to many maple trees.
