Main Hall of Shouyin Temple

The Main Hall of Shouyin Temple is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Commonly known as "Maidergen Temple" or "Nashun's Dujigelhurit," this is a Gelug school Tibetan Buddhist monastery. It was first built in 1920.

The existing main hall of Shouyin Temple is a building of Han-Tibetan architectural fusion, featuring a two-story, triple-roofed design. The front projects a three-bay porch, with four carved stone pillars supporting the first and second floors. The front eaves feature wooden carvings of tiger and elephant heads. The roof is of the rolled-rafter style in the front, and single-eave hip-and-gable style in the middle and rear sections. The interior of the hall is adorned with painted decorations and houses Buddha statues. On the inner side of the southwestern wall in front of the hall is painted a depiction of the eighteen levels of hell and the cycle of rebirth.

In 2013, the Main Hall of Shouyin Temple was listed as part of the seventh group of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
