Nanshi Fairyland

Known as the "Little Wudang," Chengjiang's Nanshi Fairyland is located in Nantian Village, Chengjiang Town, 38 kilometers east of the county seat. This scenic spot features several mountain peaks rising abruptly from the ground, arranged in an orderly manner, resembling an inkstone stand jutting out of the jungle. Perennially shrouded in mist and veiled by enchanting local legends, it holds an air of mystery, much like Mount Lu.

The environment around Nanshi Fairyland is deep and serene, with steep and rugged mountain terrain. Collapsed rock formations have created famous attractions such as the “One-Line Sky” and the “Nine Caves and Eighteen Halls.” The Nanshi Rock rises from the ground like a multi-tiered hundred-meter screen, making it an ideal site for rock climbing and bungee jumping.

About 2.5 kilometers from Nanshi Rock lies Nantian Hot Spring, where colorless and odorless high-temperature spring water gushes out from cracks in red granite rocks. The surface water temperature reaches 82°C, and the main spring outlet has a measured flow rate of 432 cubic meters per day, offering high development and utilization potential—it’s a paradise for adventurers.
