Sam Yuen Wai Walled House is a cultural heritage site protected by Shixing County.

Sam Yuen Wai Walled House is located in Shennan Village, Shensuo Town. The entire walled house is constructed from blue bricks, river stones, and wood. The structure faces southeast and is situated northwest, built during the Qing Dynasty. It spans 21 meters in width, 18.4 meters in depth, has five stories, and is about 15 meters high. The four corners of the top floor slightly protrude. From the second floor upward, there are corridors (verandas) extending around the courtyard. The surrounding walls are sturdy and solid, with the outer wall of the ground floor being 1 meter thick. From the second floor up, vertical rectangular and circular small windows are installed. There is a well within the inner courtyard of the walled house, and wooden stairs allow access to the upper floors. In November 2010, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Sam Yuen Wai is situated in the flat fields on the southern side of Tagang Mountain, where the land is flat and fertile. It has a subtropical monsoon climate, with abundant sunlight and rainfall—annual precipitation reaches 1,700 millimeters. Mineral resources include coal, among others. Vegetation includes trees such as fir and pine. One kilometer to the east lies the Luo River, two kilometers to the south is Shixia Village, one kilometer to the west is the town government, and one kilometer to the north is Baota Ridge. The villagers are all surnamed Deng, comprising 23 households and approximately 75 people. The houses are built on the flat fields and consist of single-story buildings made of blue bricks, tiles, and wood, arranged in clusters. The villagers mainly engage in farming, cultivating crops such as rice and peanuts. A village road connects to County Road X344, linking the village committee and the town government.
