Buridun Desert Tourist Area
"Buridun" in Chinese means "where all kinds of grasses thrive." The Buridun Desert Tourist Area is located within Chaogewendusu Sumu, Bagatai, Ongniud Banner. It includes three scenic zones: Qigan, Bolongke Mountain, and Buridun. It is primarily known for its desert landscapes, and also integrates a variety of attractions such as oases, desert lakes, unique rocky mountains, Mongolian culture, and geological wonders like potholes.
Blue skies, green grass, white sand, clear waters, lush pines and cypresses, and peculiar rocks and stones form a spectacular natural landscape painting of the frontier. It is a comprehensive tourist area offering functions such as sightseeing, leisure and fitness, cultural experience, ecological display, water recreation, and ethnic cuisine.
