Chifeng Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination, a patriotic education base, and a national defense education base.

Chifeng Martyrs' Cemetery is located on the second main peak of Nanshan Mountain in Chifeng City. Established in 1947 to commemorate the Soviet soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the War of Resistance against Japan, the cemetery was relocated to its current site in 1992. Covering an area of 33,000 square meters, the cemetery is divided into two sections: one for revolutionary martyrs and one for Soviet soldiers. It consists of two monuments (one Chinese and one Soviet) and a wall of heroes, commemorating the names of 6,582 martyrs from Chifeng. The site also includes an exhibition hall for martyrs’ relics, a memorial data archive, a Peace Square, and more. The remains of 40 Soviet soldiers who died in Chifeng during the War of Resistance are buried here. The cemetery is designated as a Patriotic Education Base of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a protected memorial facility for martyrs at the regional level, a National Defense Education Base of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and a Party History Education Base of the region.
