The Site of the Meeting of the Red 2nd and 4th Corps is located in a paddy field next to the Longwo Town Government Office in Longwo Neighborhood Committee, Longwo Town, Zijin County.

In January 1928, the Red 4th Corps—formed from the remaining forces of the Guangzhou Uprising troops—after liberating Zijin City and capturing Kuomintang Lieutenant General Qiu Guozhong, advanced to Longwo where they met up with the 5th Regiment of the Red 2nd Corps, as well as the County Brigade of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Revolutionary Army, the Red Guards, and others, and together they defeated an attack by an enemy division.

The site currently retains its original paddy fields and residential buildings, with a small substation added in recent years. The Zijin County Party Committee and County Government plan to build a “Meeting Park” on the small hill beside the site.
