Former Site of the CCP Zihé Special District Committee

The former site of the CCP Zihé Special District Committee is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

The former site of the CCP Zǐ (Jīn) Hé (Yuán) Special District Committee is located in Xikēng, Jīliáng Village, Hǎoyì Town, Zǐjīn County.

In November 1929, the CCP Zihé Special District Committee and the Communist Youth League Zihé Special District Committee were established in Pàozǐ Township, and moved to Xikēng in February 1930. Zhuāng Xī was appointed secretary, reporting to the CCP Zǐjīn County Committee. From December 1930 to May 1931, it was under the leadership of the CCP Hǎilùzǐ County Committee. After May 1931, it came under the leadership of the Huìyáng County Committee. Until 1934, the CCP Zihé Special District Committee operated in Xikēng. This special committee had jurisdiction over the Fùzhōng District Committee, Lántáng District Committee, Gǔshí District Committee, and Lánhuáng District Committee. In the autumn of 1934, the Huìyáng County Committee was disbanded, after which the Zihé Special District Committee lost contact with its superiors and was dissolved. The site was built during the Qing Dynasty, facing east with a westward orientation. It has a total width of 26.4 meters and a depth of 12.6 meters. The structure features purlin gable walls.

In January 1994, it was designated as a patriotic education base by the Zǐjīn County Government.
