Guzhu Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument

The Guzhu Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Guzhu Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument is located in Xinwei Village, Zijin County.

To commemorate 33 revolutionary martyrs including Dai Yaotian, Dai Ruiling, Wang Ximing, Zhu Chunquan, Wang Jinfu, Lai Song’an, Xu Shuntai, Zhang Zhurong, and Liu Guilian, in November 2000, the Old Revolutionary Base Area Construction Research and Promotion Association of Guzhu Town built the Guzhu Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument on a small hill at the intersection of Rongfeng Road along the Zigu Highway. The monument faces southwest and consists of a spire, main body, base, platform, surrounding plaza, and enclosing wall. It spans 52.9 meters in width and 42.7 meters in depth, with cypress trees planted around the enclosing wall. The polished stone slabs, platform, and base are finished smoothly, while the main body is clad in marble. The front of the main body is inscribed with “Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs,” and the front of the base features a raised marble engraving reading “Names of the Revolutionary Martyrs of Guzhu Town.” The spire is square-shaped.
