Yingxun Gate

Yingxun Gate is located in Xingcheng Town, Xingning City. Commonly known as the South Gate, it was built in the third year of the Chenghua era of the Ming Dynasty (1467). To ensure the safety of the city, sturdy walls were constructed around it using blue bricks during its establishment. The wall stands 6 meters high and stretches 200 meters long, encircled by a 10-meter-wide moat. The Chaoyang Gate was built to the east, along with the Baozhang Pass; to the west, the Guanlan Gate and the Yongtai Pass; to the north, the Gongchen Gate and the TianShu Pass; and to the south, the Yingxun Gate and the Yubao Pass. Currently, the South Gate (Yingxun Gate), the North Gate (Gongchen Gate), and the Yongtai Pass (of the West Gate) remain. The gatehouse features a hip-and-gable roof and is relatively well-preserved. In 1985, it was designated as a cultural relics protection unit by the Xingning Municipal People's Government.
