Xingning Nine Halls and Eighteen Courtyards is a cultural relic protection unit of Meizhou City.

“Nine Halls and Eighteen Courtyards” is one of the three typical representatives of Hakka residential architecture (tulou, nine halls and eighteen courtyards, weilongwu), widely distributed in Hakka regions such as Fujian, Guangdong, and Jiangxi. It is a large-scale residential structure built by the Hakka people, combining elements of northern courtyard architecture to adapt to the rainy and humid southern climate and natural geographical features, using a symmetrical central-axis layout where halls and courtyards are integrated.

Xingning Nine Halls and Eighteen Courtyards is located in Dongfeng Neighborhood Committee, Ningxin Subdistrict, Xingning City, Meizhou, Guangdong Province. Originally built during the Yuan Dynasty (1127 AD), it has a history of over 730 years. Facing south and situated to the north, it is a weilongwu (enclosed dragon house) with three halls, six wings, and three enclosed sections, making it the oldest ancient building within Xingning County. The residence contains nine halls, 18 courtyards, and more than 190 rooms.

It borders Yonghe and Nipai to the east, Diaofang to the south, Fuxing to the west, and Ningzhong to the north, covering a total area of 29 square kilometers.
